UK Sales Manager (Director Designate) Location: Elland Ref No: 11/04
Job Description:

Colson X-Cel Ltd are fast growing and profitable due to its wide range of high quality Piping and Instrument Valve products and with a strong technical ability. As we see a continued increase in business and with known orders due to be closed we require a  sales engineer with proven skills in an engineering technical sales team. This role is an excellent route for progression within the Company for the right candidate.

Responsible for Sales activities of Piping and Instrument Valves in England and Wales.


To make well planned visits on a regular basis to existing clients. Visit plan to be prepared on a weekly basis.
Development of new clients.


To interact with the internal sales team to ensure that offers / responses are received by clients in time.


To achieve the order in-take target as agreed with the management.


The responsibility also includes achieving product approvals, in the designated territory, from various end users and consultants.

Graduate in Engineering

Scotland and Scandinavia Sales Manager Location: Dundee/Aberdeen Ref No: 11/03

Project Sales Engineer Location: Elland Ref No: 11/02
Job Description:

Colson X-Cel Ltd are fast growing and profitable due to its wide range of high quality Piping and Instrument Valve products and with a strong technical ability. Due to continued increase in business and with known orders due to be closed   we require a project sales engineer with proven skills in an engineering technical sales team. This role is an excellent route for progression within the Company for the right candidate.

 

Respond verbally and/or in writing to all customers enquiries and progressing of orders.

Evaluate each enquiry technically and commercially in order to offer the correct product(s) to meet the customer requirements.

Work closely with other departments where required thus ensuring that the customers needs are met and ensuring that we offer valves that are both economically and technically viable.

Close orders by evaluation of customer needs, prompt and correct response and offering competitive yet profitable pricing to suit clients budget.

Discuss best possible delivery dates that are realistic and achievable,  liaising with Operations, Engineering and purchasing.

Support for the external sales team and distributors globally, ensuring they are updated with information regarding customer activity, project information etc. Providing quotations, costing and delivery information as required to secure potential orders.

Regular follow up of enquiries to final conclusion in order to maximise order intake.

 

Person Description:

Enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced yet highly interesting environment.

You will be required to be organised and willing to work unaided and as a team player

With several years experience selling a technical product

Able to communicate at all levels and balance high work load, whilst maintaining tight deadlines.

Design Engineer Location: Elland Ref No: 11/01
Job Description:

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our existing team of seven experienced engineers.

The role involves working on six new product developments that we are looking to bring to market in 2019 as well as supporting the team with project engineering.

Colson X-Cel Ltd are in a very large and fast growth phase and we require an experienced person to help increase the rate of growth.

Knowledge of Ball or other valves is essential in order to slot into the programme as smoothly as possible.

Ideally degree qualified.

A Design Engineer is expected to have strong problem solving skills, capable of coming up with creative approaches for generating new ideas and improving existing processes or products in the unit.

A professional skill level in the use of CAD and Inventor software is expected, using engineering and design principles to maximise output.

CNC Miller Location: Elland Ref No: 01/10
Job Description:

Due to recent project awards and an internal promotion we are seeking a CNC Miller to join our team. If you have the skills and commitment mentioned below then please contact us for an interview.

• Experience programming Fanuc machine controls setting up & operating CNC mills

• Positive attitude, attention to detail, problem-solving, organised, punctual, safety conscious.

• 4th axis programming knowledge essential

• Create, load, examine and modify CNC programmes;

• Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine;

• Carry out machining of components;

• Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy;

• Used to working to fine tolerances in a range of materials including but not limited to both carbon and stainless steels

• Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment;

• Able to work under own initiative.

Person Description:

Basic hours of 39 per week.

Overtime available with rates at x1.3 base hourly rate.

Holiday of 32 days inclusive of bank holidays.

Early Friday Finish - 12:30pm
