Colson Valves has been manufacturing high-integrity valves for over three decades. From our purpose-built facility in the UK, we supply instrumentation and double block & bleed valves to oil & gas, chemical, energy and defence customers around the world. Everything is done in-house – design, machining, assembly, testing, quality assurance – under a single chain of accountability. That is not a marketing claim. It is how we ensure the traceability, consistency and speed that customers in high-risk industries require.
Since the early 1990s, Colson has supplied valves into some of the most demanding applications on the planet – offshore platforms, refineries, defence systems and critical process plants. We have worked with major operators and EPCs on time-critical projects where delays are costly and specification failures have serious consequences. That experience is built into how we work.
Our UK-based engineering team develops robust valve solutions to international standards and project-specific requirements. In-house CNC machining, assembly and testing keeps communication tight, quality consistent, and lead times predictable. When a specification changes at short notice – which it often does – we can respond quickly, because there is no supply chain to renegotiate.
Our manufacturing processes operate under ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification. All materials carry full EN10204 3.1 certification and are traceable to source throughout the manufacturing process. Inspection and test records are maintained to support audits, third-party witnessing and long-term asset management. For customers operating in regulated environments, this level of documentation is crucial – and we have been providing it consistently for over thirty years.
