Standard products do not always fit the application. Unusual dimensions, extreme service conditions, specific material requirements or tight delivery constraints all call for a design that goes beyond the standard range – and that is where our in-house engineering and manufacturing capability comes into its own. Because design, machining, assembly and testing all happen at our Rotherham facility, we can develop, build and test a bespoke valve without waiting on external design authorities or sub-suppliers. That speed is crucial when a specification changes late in the day, or a project timeline leaves little room to manoeuvre.
Our engineering team works with customers from the earliest stage of the requirement, understanding the operating conditions and constraints before proposing a design. Because the same team carries the project through machining, assembly and testing, the specification stays intact from drawing board to test report – with the same EN10204 3.1 traceability and quality system controls applied as standard.
We have designed and delivered bespoke valves for unusual dimensions, extreme service conditions and tight delivery windows across oil & gas, chemical, energy and defence projects over three decades. Where a standard configuration will not do the job, talk to our engineering team about what will.
At Colson Valves, we design and manufacture bespoke valve solutions in-house, which means we can move quickly on late specification changes, tight timelines and complex operating conditions – without compromising quality or compliance.
