Assembly and testing

Every Colson valve is assembled and tested at our Rotherham facility by experienced technicians working under our certified quality management system. No valve leaves our site without undergoing pressure testing and functional inspection to verify sealing integrity and operational performance.

Keeping assembly and testing in-house, alongside design and machining, means our technicians are working with components they understand and to specifications set by our own engineering team – not interpreting someone else’s drawings against someone else’s tolerances.

Documentation you can rely on

Test and inspection records are retained to support audit, third-party witnessing and long-term asset management. For customers operating in regulated industries, this level of documentation is built into our process as standard, rather than assembled retrospectively when a customer asks for it.

Proven in testing

A valve that passes visual inspection is not the same as a valve that has been tested to confirm it performs under the conditions it will actually face in service. Our assembly and testing process exists to close that gap, so that what leaves our facility is proven, not assumed.
